&lt;p&gt;Thank you for the post. Hostable Webcore Service is not a requirement since you can run IIS7 Mobile Admin as a website inside IIS7 as well. Administring service is always better to be outside of IIS so you can use HWC for it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Uninstalling and reinstalling the Windows Mobile 6 SDKs did not work for me when both VS2005 and VS2008 were installed. It only seemed to reinstall the SDK for VS2005.&lt;/p&gt;
