Monday, June 06, 2005 4:03 PM

Dr. Neil Roodyn has published his first NLA article on MSDN . Keep in mind that “Mobile PC” != “Pocket PC”. -Nino Share this post: email it! | bookmark... Read More...

Some time ago I blogged that I was going to post about my last project .. and now, after three re-writes (*sigh*), here’s the post.. The location and schedule: Started off in New Jersey in June 2004; after a few months we moved down to D.C. to be with the server team. The schedule was, um, challenging ( to say the least ). The business: Uh… government... Read More...
Data Anywhere

I attended the Data Anywhere session given by Markus Egger whom you might know as the publisher of this magazine and President of this company . Excellent talk! He demonstrated such passion for his topic, not to mention he ran over quite a bit; I really love hearing passionate speakers. Despite my enjoyment of this talk, I’m actually not going to say too... What the heck is NLA? Think about that phrase “Mobile PC” for a moment; what do you think of? It is my guess that in a Microsoft Windows context, most people... Read More...

Mike beat me to it : ROM v2.7.1.1 for Orange SPV E200 has been released Hopefully this addresses a lot of the weird behavior I've had recently: Bluetooth turning on at a whim, lock-ups, and inability to keep up a GPRS connection. -Nino UPDATE: I updated to 2.7.1.1 yesterday; all is well :-) Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | reddit! | kick... The Mobile Minute 66

The weather in DC is a slightly less humid today, which was nice for my commute to work. I'm still getting acclimated to the high the humidity(IMO) at say, 6:30AM when I'm on my way to the Metro.. ugh. I have some additional anecdotes to blog about later. I can't re-post the link as it is subscriber only, but the WSJ's Walt Mossberg took a look at the new HP... Read More...
