Decided to start the link series up again.. five months(!) into parenthood and I'm still trying to get my head on straight.

Business

•  NAVTEQ announced today that its stockholders have approved the merger agreement with Nokia announced in October.   Now we can expect new drama in the Garmin, Tele Atlas, TomTom love triangle.
• And speaking of mapping.. Microsoft buys Multimap
• SprintNextel is slated to launch Xohm, their WiMAX  network/service in 2008, and turn on the juice in test markets Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington DC by year's end.
• Verizon Wireless announced that they have selected LTE for their 4G network.    VZW picks LTE, SprintNextel picks WiMAX ...  AT&T ??   T-Mo?  (wait, T-Mo still hasn't launched 3G..)

Hardware/Software

• Hey look, an Android device!  Here.
• Pocket PC Thoughts links to an unboxing of the HTC Touch Dual.
• Josh Bancroft blogs about the new Google iPhone interface.
• Jason Langridge excitedly blogs about an 8GB (!) MicroSD  (I'm sure when my son is my age.. his watch will have 8GB in the size of a pinhead).

Development

• Andrew Arnott from the .NET CF team blogs about the .NET CF 3.5 Power Toys.   Get them (because I said so)
• Fellow MVP Darren Shaffer blogs about issues one may encounter with SQL CE replication going through a firewall
