DUI checkpoints - Should you be informed?
My wife was reading the local paper, The Cincinnati Enquirer, online tonight and noticed that it announced the [generic] location of a DUI checkpoint. Article here.
I'm trying to fathom as to the logic behind this. To help the drunkards know where to avoid? To let people know that there may be a traffic issue on the noted road? I thought that this was supposed to be a surprise of sorts. What obvious thing am I missing here?
