Software / Hardware 

• PhoneScoop.com reports that the FCC has approved the Motorola Q  – I’m still holding my breath. The last good WM device from Motorola was the MPx200.
• Samsung has also scored FCC approval for their i320 (via msmobiles.com)
• CoolSmartPhone.com is reporting that Expansys is showing a release date for the Qtek 8500 (WM5 Smartphone – clamshell) of May 10 in the UK for £359.95 and a price of $569.95 in the US with no release date.  My $0.02? – Take the Expansys dates with caution.

• .NET Compact Framework 2.0, Service Pack 1 *Beta 1* announced. Download.
• Steven Pratschner blogs about Analyzing Device Application Performance with .NET CF Remote Performance Monitor – another great post from Steven.  FYI: .NET CF RPM will be part of .NET CF 2.0 SP1 – read up!
