(sort of..  I'll be working through the weekend yet again..*sigh*).   Oh yeah, that "Silver Harvest" project I blogged about - tabled. My experiences on my current project have compelled me to write something else first...more on that later.  .. much more to blog about but...gah!  time.. where's that "standard 37 hour day" ?!?

Software / Hardware 

• Here’s an open source mobile app server project (Funambol) that will provide things such as push e-mail, address book, PIM and device management (You’ll need to install the Java-based bits on both your server and device) – (via msmobiles.com)
• Virtual Earth Mobile users – upgrade now to avoid breakage!!  On Feb. 12, 2006, the VE servers will switch to a new interface.
• NewMobile.nl now has an English-language version of their site
• Coolsmartphone.com brings a tip on how to use the ActiveSync Remote Display tool with WM5.0 (or you could buy SOTI Pocket Controller)
• InfoSync World reviews the T-Mobile MDA (T-Mo’s version of the HTC Wizard)
• For folks new to Windows Mobile, PocketPCMagazine.com has an informative piece “What is Windows Mobile?”
• A good piece over at Geekzone.co.nz about operator branding on Windows Mobile

• Marcus Perryman gives an intro on using MSMQ with WM5.0
• The Windows Mobile team gives us some gems: How to add your own root cert via CAB file (and I *just* wrote a piece like this for work – heh), Application Verifier for WM 5.0, injecting provisioning XML into the CAB file (you could do this with CabWizSP previously..), and a post about an issue with a TypeLoadException and Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Telephony
