Expansys now has the Qtek 9100 available for pre-order.  Keep an eye on  Mad Monkey Boy’s Gadgets.  I hadn't heard of the place until recently, but a few of my co-workers swear by it.

Hopefully my negative travel karma is now gone – I had some travel troubles in my journeys to and from Seattle and Chicago last week. Somehow (still pondering this one) I’m a better person because of it.  Seattle was great - I got finally got to meet some Avanade folks I've been talking to for a few years (EricBl  and Matt (who came over from the UK)) as well as get to meet the rest of the folks on the team. We got a lot done in our design meetings too.   Then Chicago on Friday - again, met more folks I have only corresponded with. I'll have to say that that meeting went much smoother than I was anticipating. So much good stuff going on these days.  Wow. :-)

So I decided not to blog much from O’ahu – not such a bad thing, eh?  (..and I got sick of updating all of my feeds over my GPRS connection).  I’m in Seattle for most of this week for project meetings and taking part of this evening to catch up a bit on blogging..and e-mail.

I’m working through my work Inbox (rather full from my week on holiday) on my way Salt Lake City (final destination Seattle) this morning and I was entering in my travel time for today into our time and expense application.  The current version of this app, 4.0, was re-written in .NET and is pretty sweet (compared to the old VBx-derived version).  The part about it I love best is entering time on a weekend:

This always gives me a chuckle (as well as wishing I could click ‘No’)
